Time moves at a constant speed
Now it seems far slower then I need
Too much time between now
And when we say the sacred vow
I can not wait till she belongs to me
And I become her property
With all the time between now and then
And all that needs to be done before our lives begin
I know that the night before, sleep will not come to me
And time will come to a crawl
Before time moves too fast for us all
When she walks down the isle
With a Goddess's grace and style
I will want time to stand still
But it will not be bent to my will
Far too soon it will be over
And we will be lieing under cover
Preforming our last act as bride and groom
But I fear that night, sleep will come too soon
The only solace I will take in the morning light
Is that I will wake beside her, until I lose my might
And the heart that I gave to her, ceases to beat
And I surrender to time in defeat
But for her I will give a good fight
Just to spend another minute in her sight |
